Philippines
The Philippines is made up of 7,641 islands (only 2,000 are inhabited). It is regularly battered by tropical storms and monsoon-induced flooding. These natural occurrences make up almost two-thirds of all recorded disasters from 2000 to 2024.
MEET GREG:
Greg is a young man who helps people recover from natural and man-made disasters, providing food and medications and fixing shelters and homes for inhabitants of north Panay island. 1By One is working with him to meet immediate and long-term needs to promote a self-sustaining means of living for those who lack consistent access to resources.
Our Beneficiaries
Greg helped out a family whose home was destroyed by fire. He enlisted aid and secured donations of material lumber to help them rebuild.
